This was a commission from the American Lutheran Church, Prescott Arizona, The cross is a large hollow formed piece hammered from copper sheet over stakes with hammers. I created two bowls to form the cross: one eighty inches and the second fifty inches in length. The cross was textured with a small hand held cross peen hammer. The cross was patinaed and sealed to develop depth and visual movement.
