These tabletop sculptures were hammered in steel. The hummingbird body was a single bar of steel hot forged from beak tip to tail. The forged elements of flowers and bird are welded, patinaed, and clear coated before mounting to the base. The base is a sandstone shaped to compliment the scale of the piece.
